Serena Piper is a beauty and lifestyle writer who covers hairstyles, haircuts, and color trends for HairstyleCamp. She started in student journalism as a reporter for The Torch and a campus correspondent for Her Campus Oregon, then earned her Bachelor of Science in magazine journalism from the University of Oregon in 2013.

Her byline has appeared in print and online. She was a contributing writer for The Huffington Post from 2013 to 2018 and a freelance writer for Lavish Living Magazine, worked as a writer and editor for Metroleta, and interned in writing and social media at Eugene Magazine and in lifestyle writing at College Lifestyles. She is also a contributing writer for Hadviser, where she writes about haircuts and hair color.

Serena lives in Daytona Beach, Florida, where she works at the Early Learning Coalition, a nonprofit supporting children of low-income families. She also holds an associate degree in child development from Rasmussen College and an Associate of Arts from Lane Community College.

When she is not writing, Serena enjoys spending time with family, reading, country music concerts, exploring Florida, and, of course, the beach.
