Madeline Hall started her cosmetology career at the Cinta Aveda Institute in San Francisco and has been working behind the chair as a hair colorist ever since. She spent five years as a senior colorist and salon educator at CODE salon in San Francisco, then moved to Nashville, where she colored at Pure Salon and has been a hair color specialist at Local Honey since 2020.

She has traveled all over the U.S. for advanced hair color training, taking classes from well-known industry veterans, and has taught color to cosmetology students just starting out. In her own words: "I love doing hair. I find the cosmetology industry so fun and rewarding."

Madeline also holds a BA in communication and journalism from Sonoma State University. Since 2020 she has written about hair professionally as a freelance writer, including as a senior contributor to Era Organics.
